It’s not just an infectiously catchy phrase we devised for our blog title.
“Insight to Incite” personifies the purpose not only of each and every blog post, but also for each and every client campaign. Public relations (PR) and marketing pros have been taught to always drive awareness. But, the way Etched sees it, that’s only half the battle.
At times, our industry has a different way of conducting business. By materializing the title, “Insight to Incite,” we aim to use our knowledge (insight) to motivate (incite) our colleagues, clients, and the industry, to positive action. We also strive to create awareness of timely, relevant topics (insight) to influence (incite) the world in a meaningful way.
We can write the most motivational of all blog posts, but at the end of the day, if our knowledge isn’t used to “cultivate progressive influence,” what have we accomplished?
To us, the answer is simple – nothing.
As a famous leader once said, “Either write something worth reading, or do something worth writing about.” Through the leading-edge campaigns we execute for our clients, and our informative, and sometimes humorous blog posts, will aspire to both every day. We sincerely hope our dedication, and clever compositions, will deliver unmatched insight to incite you.

While brainstorming what we wanted our blog to represent, the word ‘diverse’ stood out to the team. It has been noted that cultural diversity is vastly underrepresented in the communication industry. At Etched however, it is among our distinguishing qualities.
Diversity invites distinctive viewpoints, unique attitudes, varying perspectives, and different ways of seeing the world. Etched believes diverse viewpoints, attitudes, perspectives, and ways of seeing the world all have merit. They are what makes a career in PR and marketing communication so interesting, and not to mention fun.
We pride ourselves on seeing eye-to-eye, so we can produce “I to I.” Creating and executing strategies that respect diversity is not only a good thing to do, it’s the right thing to do.
